Carol Colombo of the Arizona DEC and Byron Goo of the Hawaii Pacific DEC will discuss lessons from their councils’ challenges and successes, including structure and bylaws — governance that provides clarity and keeps volunteers engaged — and sponsorship strategies to attract sponsors that fund council impact.
Moderator Fred Latuperissa will add perspective from his career with the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he retired as a U.S. Commercial Service Director.
