Danica Starks – Senior Commercial Liaison, U.S. Commercial Service – World Bank

Danica R. Starks is the Senior U.S. Commercial Liaison and Advisor to the U.S. Executive Director at the World Bank and Head of the Commerce Department’s Multilateral Development Bank Group.

Belen Gallegos – Senior Commercial Liaison, U.S. Commercial Service – Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)

Belen Gallegos serves as the Senior U.S. Commercial Liaison in the Office of the U.S. Executive Director at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Edwin Tachlian-Degras – Operations Senior Specialist, Inter-American Development Bank

Edwin Tachlian is an Operations Senior Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Operations Financial Management and Procurement services Division (VPC/FMP), based in Washington, DC.

Jean-Jacques Verdeaux – LAC Procurement Practice Manager, The World Bank

Mr. Verdeaux leads a team of more than 40 World Bank procurement specialists who supervise operations in 32 countries. The portfolio includes operations in critical infrastructure, education, environment, health, including the procurement of vaccines during the pandemic.

Gabrielle Mandel – LAC Country Manager, U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)

Gabrielle Mandel serves as a Country Manager for the Latin America and Caribbean region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity, she is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in Brazil and the Southern Cone region. Ms. Mandel also manages the highly regarded U.S.-Brazil Aviation Partnership and co-leads the aviation sector team at USTDA.

Elena Mendez – Regional Director – Eastern Region, Export-Import Bank (EXIM)

Elena Méndez joined the Export-Import Bank’s Southeast Regional Office in Miami as an Export Finance Manager in late July, 2012, and is responsible for Florida, Mississippi, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Santiago Paz – Senior Sector Specialist, IDB Innovation in Citizen Services DivisionSantiago Paz is a Senior Sector Specialist in Cybersecurity, advising on projects and collaborating with different countries in the region to develop their capabilities.

Alfred Grunwaldt – Senior Sector Specialist, IDB Climate Change Division

Alfred Grünwaldt is a Senior Climate Change Specialist and the coordinator for adaptation at the IDB.
