The Oklahoma District Export Council’s annual Oklahoma World Trade Conference. Now in its 41st year, the OWTC provides a networking and educational event for exporters and would-be exporters.

As the Premier Global Educational event in the State of Oklahoma, our conference is designed to provide a comprehensive platform for learning, networking, and honoring excellence in exporting. One of the highlights of our program is the prestigious Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting, Export Achievement, and Export Champions, recognizing the outstanding contributions of exporters in our community.

The conference kicks off with a captivating session on Hot Topics in International Trade. Join us as Robin Roberson from Future Point of View delves into the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on businesses. Ben Gottsch of V. Alexander will shed light on CmTent Transportation Concerns, while Kevin Litz, an esteemed International Attorney, will navigate us through Geo-Political and other pertinent issues.

For those intrigued by the prospects of Doing Business in Africa, our next session is not to be missed. Under the guidance of panel moderator Sharina Perry, Director at Utopia Plastix, esteemed guests Cynthia Griffin from the U.S. Commercial Service and Rafael Quintero, International Sales Manager at McElroy Manufacturing, will explore the vast opportunities awaiting in African markets.

A highlight of our conference is the unique session on Indigenous Trade Opportunities, expertly moderated by Dr. Jim Collard, Director at Citizen Pottawatomi Nation. Join us as Chad Johnson from The Akana Group, Bailey Walker representing the Oklahoma Indian Chamber of Commerce, and Valerie Devol of Devol Associates share insights into harnessing trade opportunities within indigenous communities.

Concluding our program is a captivating session led by Dan McLeod of East West Associates, offering a step-by-step case study on navigating international sourcing beyond China to mitigate tariffs. We’ll also hear from Joe Edmondson of the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, who will introduce Connex and National Supplier Scouting, shedding light on domestic sourcing strategies.

We cordially invite you to join us for this enriching and enlightening event, where industry leaders, experts, and innovators converge to explore the ever-evolving landscape of global trade. Register today!
