Biography: David Day is a senior international lawyer based in Honolulu with extensive experience working with U.S. and Asian business throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. He has been a pioneer in the development of anti-corruption and alternative dispute resolution programs in Southeast Asia and is currently involved in numerous commercial projects across the Pacific Rim. He works extensively with the U.S. Commercial Service for both U.S. clients looking to export and foreign operations seeking to import into the U.S as well as export from the U.S. He has taught international trade at the MBA and ExecMBA levels at business schools in both Asia and the U.S. David is also Chairman of the Global Risk Mitigation Foundation based in Honolulu. The foundation is involved in the comprehensive management of risk issues impacting both private and public sector organizations, developments, and projects. David has been a member of the Hawaii DEC since 2009 and is its former Vice Chair.
