Thomas E. Moore Jr.
Over a 33-year career with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Tom Moore advanced the trade and investment initiatives of six Presidents, from the Caribbean Basin Initiative to NAFTA and Trade Africa. He was posted to the Eastern Caribbean, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Mexico, Italy, and Washington, D.C., where he led the U.S. Commercial Service as Deputy Director General and Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Operations. He promoted  U.S. exports in virtually every industry sector from aerospace to waste management, linking businesses to opportunities, creating jobs for American workers, and protecting America’s business interests abroad. Since leaving government Tom has pursued his interests in economic development and education as a consultant, writer and editor.
